Buyers & Sellers: Redskins President Bruce Allen Purchases California Home For $7M

Redskins President BRUCE ALLEN has "reportedly purchased a bayfront property" in Newport Beach, Calif., for $7M. The 4,100-square-foot house includes a "living room with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a formal dining room, a wet bar, five bedrooms and four bathrooms" (WASHINGTONTIMES.com, 7/24).

LOOKING FOR BACKERSRAY LEWIS has "cut the price" of his 28-acre Reisterstown, Md., home by 15% and is asking $2.5M for the 6,600-square-foot property, down from $2.95M when it was listed in April. The home has "seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a theater, sauna, gym, hot tub, elevator, pool and pool house." Lewis purchased the "gated estate" for $1.95M in '03 (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/24)....Cardinals LB KARLOS DANSBY sold his Southwest Ranches, Fla., mansion for $3.2M. Dansby bought the 12,300-square-foot house for $3.4M in '10 from former NFLer REGGIE WAYNE. Built on 2.35 acres in '07, the home has "six bedrooms, six bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a five-car garage, a theater, a billiard room, a pool, a basketball court and a summer kitchen" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/24).

CALIFORNIA DREAMING: Dodgers RF YASIEL PUIG has put his home in L.A.'s Sherman Oaks neighborhood on the market for $2.3M. The 4,600-square-foot Mediterranean villa-style house has "six bedrooms and six bathrooms." Puig bought the property two years ago for $1.8M (LATIMES.com, 7/25)....Former NFLer TY LAW has cut the asking price for his home in Plantation, Fla., to $2.198M, down from $2.245M earlier this year. The 5,500-square-foot, two-story home is set on "more than half an acre" and has "six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms." The back yard centers on a "lagoon-style swimming pool with a baja shelf, waterfalls and a water slide." The largest of the waterfalls "covers the mouth of a swim-in grotto" (LATIMES.com, 7/14).
