Rams Tailoring Second Southern California Training Camp To Fan Experience

The Rams will open their second training camp in Southern California on July 29, and fans can "expect significant changes to the look, feel and operation of the practice sessions that are open to the public" at UC-Irvine, according to Vincent Bonsignore of the L.A. DAILY NEWS. The team said that its "objective is to improve the fan experience." Enhancements are "coming to improve everything from protection from the weather to better access to the team." Among the changes is a shaded seating area on "half of the bleachers on a first-come, first-served basis." There will be a "daily fan tunnel through which players will pass on their way to the practice field," as well as an "expanded Rams Fan Zone." Beer gardens will be on "each side of the field to serve fans" before and during practice. Rams VP/Ticket Sales Jake Bye said coach Sean McVay has "embraced the ideas" and has been "agreeable to everything." The Rams will also "feature select themed days with unique giveaways for fans at the main entrance." Those themes include a Welcome Back Fans Day, Season Ticket Member Appreciation Day, Back To School Community Drive Day, Kids Day and a Rock Your Throwbacks Day (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 7/20).
