Buyers & Sellers: Former Bulls Jimmy Butler, Luol Deng Unloading Chicago-Area Mansions

T'Wolves F JIMMY BUTLER put his Chicago mansion on the market for $5M. Located in the River North neighborhood, the 10,000-square-foot property has "six bedrooms, a 1,300-square-foot rooftop deck, a 750-bottle wine cellar and a three car garage" (CHICAGOBUSINESS.com, 7/10)....Lakers F LUOL DENG sold his "seven-bedroom, 10,100-square-foot French Provincial-style stone mansion" in Northbrook, Ill., for $1.753M. The mansion has "six en-suite bedrooms, eight baths in total, a library, a two-story family room, a two-story foyer, a bridal staircase and a master suite with a spa, a fireplace, a sitting area, a bathroom with dual vanities and a private terrace with new decking" (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 7/10).

TIME TO SELL: WNBA L.A. Sparks F CANDACE PARKER and her husband, former NBAer SHELDON WILLIAMS, have listed their home in Encino, Calif., for sale at $4.49M. The couple, "who are estranged, bought the estate on 1.38 acres four years ago" for $3.56M. The Spanish-style home has "canyon, city and mountain views." The grounds include an "outdoor kitchen, a swimming pool with spa and a lighted sports court." A separate pool house "holds a sauna and an additional bathroom." Within more than 7,000 square feet of interior space are a "two-story entry, living, dining and family rooms, a home theater, seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 7/13).

DESERT STORM: Suns G DEVIN BOOKER has purchased a home located in Phoenix' Paradise Valley neighborhood for $3.25M. The 5,600-square-foot house has "four bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms and comes with retractable glass doors and a four-car garage." The dining room has a "wine cellar and a butler's pantry, as well as a chef's kitchen" (AZCENTRAL.com, 7/10)....Former MLBer ERIC GAGNE sold his home in Scottsdale's Silverleaf community for $2.575M. The 4,807-square-foot home is a "five bedroom, five-and-a-half bathroom custom estate." The backyard includes "expansive artificial glass areas, outdoor living space with fireplace and a built-in BBQ, a heated pool and spa, water feature, putting green, basketball court and dog walk" (AZCENTRAL.com, 7/10).

QUICK SALE: NHL Kings G JONATHAN QUICK has sold his home in Manhattan Beach's Gaslamp District for $3.975M. The two-story home "combines elements of Craftsman and Cape Cod style." Built in '07, the house has "five bedrooms and four bathrooms in more than 3,500 square feet of living space" (LATIMES.com, 7/7).
