Play Like A Pro With Darts VR For HTC Vive, Oculus Rift

The Awesome Game Studio, content developer of the world’s largest VR-based theme park, has something new. It has announced the launch of the play-at-home sports game, Darts VR.

Available for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, the game doesn’t have the look of a traditional darts setting. Rather, it’s surroundings display bright colors to give it a club-feel.

The head-to-head format offers a couple of gameplay options. While competing against a friend you may choose the traditional “501” rules format, and there’s also a solo practice option.

Gameplay is simplified as all you need is a headset and motion controllers to take a shot at a bullseye. You can purchase Darts VR on Viveport and the Oculus Store for $9.99.

For HTC Vive, this marks a continued trek into the virtual sports space. Earlier this year the platform launched a similar multiplayer experience in the form of VR tennis and ping pong.
