The AAC promoted Senior Associate Commissioner DONNA DEMARCO to COO. Her promotion went into effect July 1. DeMarco in her previous role had been responsible for day-to-day management of the AAC office and its 30-plus staff members, while also serving as primary liaison and administrator to its 13 member institutions (AAC).

EXECS: The Univ. of Wisconsin promoted Associate AD/Business Development CHRIS MCINTOSH to Deputy AD, effective immediately. McIntosh replaces WALTER DICKEY, who will remain with UW and "resume oversight of areas he held previously," including compliance, government affairs and liaison for legal affairs (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 7/6)....The Southland Conference has restructured its staff ahead of the '17-18 academic year, naming Associate Commissioner for Financial Operations EDD HENDERSON Senior Associate Commissioner for Internal Operations; Associate Commissioner for External Affairs JENNY MCGHEE Senior Associate Commissioner for External Operations; BRUCE LUDLOW Associate Commissioner for Sports Operations; Assistant Commissioner of Television & Electronic Media CHRIS MYCOSKIE Associate Commissioner for Broadcast & New Media; JOHN PAYNE Dir of Business Operations; GEORGE STIEREN Associate Commissioner for Strategic Communications; and TRAVIS DAY Information Dir. The restructuring comes after the conference's recent hirings of Deputy Commissioner JOHN WILLIAMS and Assistant Commissioner for Compliance Services THOMAS SAMUEL (Southland Conference).
