Chiefs Introducing $200 Mobile-Only Season Ticket Option For Home Dates In '17

The Chiefs for the upcoming season will offer a $200 pass that gives fans access to all 10 regular and preseason home games. The Chiefs join the Jets as NFL clubs offering a season-long pass. Game passes are more common in MLB, where at least 22 clubs offer them. With far fewer games in the NFL, they have not been embraced widely, at least so far. But with large venues like Arrowhead Stadium, filling all the seats can still be a chore in the NFL. "The limited number of seats available through the Bud Light Game Day Pass will be in select locations in the upper level of Arrowhead Stadium," the Chiefs said. "Bud Light Game Day Passes are non-transferable and must be used by the purchaser" (Daniel Kaplan, Staff Writer). In K.C., Blair Kerkhoff notes the mobile-only tickets will be "delivered to the cell phone of the registered purchaser the morning of the game and cannot be printed." The purchaser can buy "up to four tickets together," but that purchaser will "own all four passes and will need to present the tickets at every game for the group to gain access to the stadium" (K.C. STAR, 7/6).
