Big Machine Label Group Promoting Musician Brantley Gilbert With Brickyard 400 Entitlement

Nashville-based music label Big Machine Label Group is the new entitlement sponsor of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This year's race on July 23 will be called the Brantley Gilbert Big Machine Brickyard 400. The race is named after country music artist Brantley Gilbert, who is signed to Big Machine's Valory Music Company imprint. Gilbert will attend the event and perform for fans during pre-race celebrations (THE DAILY). INSIDE INDIANA BUSINESS' Alex Brown notes Big Machine has "sponsored several performances at past IMS events and also sponsored Verizon IndyCar Series driver Sage Karam" at the '14 Indianapolis 500, "featuring Gilbert's likeness on Karam's car." The record label "features a roster of artists, including Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire and Florida Georgia Line" (INSIDEINDIANABUSINESS.com, 6/30).
