Largest EA Sports FIFA Competition Launching This Fall

Gaming enthusiasts can rejoice as the largest EA Sports FIFA competition is launching this all, according to an announcement from Electronic Arts and FIFA around EA Play. The year-long competition, which is powered by FIFA 18 and FIFA Ultimate Team on Xbox One and PlayStation4, will allow players to compete and qualify for a multi-week playoff and grand final. One player will ultimately be crowned the world champion.

Players will have an opportunity to compete in official league competitions as they represent their favorite clubs. Additionally, the FIFA Ultimate Team Champions Cups will begin as a widespread online tournament qualifier for live events later this winter and spring.

Also, a new FIFA Interactive Club World Cup, the equivalent of an All-Star tournament, will feature players signed to clubs while some of the worlds top competitive gaming organization will work with Electronic Arts and FIFA to provide alternative ways for millions of gamers to compete at the highest level.

More information from both parties is expected throughout the summer months.
