Buyers & Sellers: Vinny Testaverde Selling His 12,000-Square-Foot Florida Home For $5M

Former NFLer VINNY TESTAVERDE is putting his Hillsborough County, Fla., home on the market for $5M. The 12,000-square-foot house has a basketball court, tennis court, putting green, pool and deck. Inside there is a full bar, wine cellar and multiple gathering areas for media viewing and cards. There is a virtual golf room and full-size gym, ice tub and sauna and rooftop dance/yoga room (Berkshire Hathaway). In addition to the sports-related amenities, the seven-bedroom, eight-bath home built in '07 boasts an "oversized laundry room with movable island and 'wrapping station' and a separate casita or in-law suite" (TAMPABAY.com, 6/5).

CALIFORNIA SELLING: Former NBA player and coach PAUL WESTPHAL sold his home in Palos Verdes Estate, Calif., for $3.4M. The 4,500-square-foot hacienda-style house, built in '58, "features a rotunda entry, beamed ceilings and stone and hardwood floors." Living spaces "include an updated kitchen, an office, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 6/2)....Former MLBer JERMAINE DYE sold his home on "more than four acres" in Poway, Calif., for $2.85M. Within a "guard-gated community, the property centers on a 9,200-square-foot main house with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms." The outside of the house includes a "lagoon-style swimming pool, a basketball half-court, a putting green and a turf field" (LATIMES.com, 6/7)....UFC HOFer ROYCE GRACIE sold his 2,300-square-foot home in Torrance, Calif., for $1.61M. Built in '49 and since remodeled, the home includes "three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms." The kitchen has been updated with a "tiled backsplash and Carrara marble countertops" (LATIMES.com, 6/7).

: FS1's DOUG GOTTLIEB listed his home in Westport, Conn., for $1.94M. The 4,651-square-foot "five-bedroom, 4 1/2-bathroom pad, without surprise, is 'a sports lover's' dream." It comes with a "tennis court and a sports bar with multiple TVs, a fireplace and a pool table" (NYPOST.com, 6/1)....Rams RB TODD GURLEY has bought an estate in a gated Chatsworth community in L.A. for $1.825M. The Mediterranean-style house, built in '05, has "five bedrooms and five bathrooms." The upstairs master suite "takes in mountain views and has a soaking tub and walk-in closet." The 5,200 square feet of living space has "front and back staircases." Outside, "mountains and rocky outcrops form the backdrop for a resort-style swimming pool and waterfall slide." There also is a "built-in barbecue" (LATIMES.com, 6/2)....Former Bears coach DICK JAURON listed his Lake Forest, Ill., home for $729,000. The 3,204-square-foot home has three bedrooms (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 6/5).
