NBC on Thursday night drew a 3.1 overnight rating for the Penguins' 6-0 win over the Predators, marking the lowest Game 5 figure since '12, when Kings-Devils drew a 2.6 on a Saturday night. The 3.1 is down 14% from a 3.6 for the Sharks 4-2 win over the Penguins in Game 5 last year, which also aired on a Thursday night. Blackhawks-Lightning Game 5 in '15, which aired on a Saturday night, drew a 3.8 overnight, while the series-clinching Kings-Rangers Game 5 in '14 on a Friday night drew a 4.7 overnight. Penguins-Predators on Thursday night drew a 32.3 local rating in Pittsburgh, while Nashville drew a 20.2 rating.
