EXECS: Dodgers Senior VP/Corporate Partnerships MICHAEL YOUNG has retired after nine years in that position. Dodgers Exec VP & CMO LON ROSEN said, "We are going to start a search to fill the position. Michael had a very successful career with the Dodgers and we wish him luck in retirement" (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer)....The NHRA named Ernst & Young exec ROY ABACAN VP & CFO. He will report directly to NHRA President PETER CLIFFORD (NHRA)....Fox Sports Digital Senior VP/Content MARK PESAVENTO and VP MIKE FOSS are "both leaving" the company. Pesavento joined Fox in July '15 from USA Today Sports Media Group. Foss is also a USA Today alum (SPORTINGNEWS.com, 5/31)....The NHL Panthers named recently retired NHLer SHAWN THORNTON VP/Business Operations (Panthers)....NextVR named USOC Social Media Strategist JOEY MAESTAS Senior Social Marketing Strategist (TWITTER.com, 5/31).
