MLB Rangers Surveying Season-Ticket Holders On Globe Life Park, New Ballpark

The MLB Rangers recently emailed an “extensive survey” to season-ticket holders, suite owners and former season-ticket holders, and the subject matter “covers everything from satisfaction with Globe Life Park ... to the kind of high-end seating options that could be part of the new park,” according to Loyd Brumfield of the DALLAS MORNING NEWS. The Rangers “plan to send out at least 7,000 surveys over the next couple of weeks.” The team unveiled the survey Wednesday and “already has received somewhere between 700 and 1,000 back.” The in-depth questionnaire “asks about fans' attitudes toward the new ballpark, giving them five choices.” It also “offers hints on seating preferences: general seating around the main concourse and upper levels.” The Rangers also “ask a bevy of questions about what fans would pay for season tickets.” The team asks “similar questions of potential corporate sponsors, albeit with much higher prices attached.” The Rangers also “scoured other teams to provide images of the kinds of amenities fans might like to see” (DALLAS MORNING NEWS, 6/1).
