The Players' Tribune Hires MLB's Joe Carney To Oversee Sales, Brand Partnership

The Players' Tribune named MLB VP/Sales JOE CARNEY Senior VP/Sales & Brand Partnerships. Carney at MLB led a team that managed sponsorship and media sales across MLB Network and MLB.com. Prior to that, Carney spent five years at the NFL, where he served as Dir of NFL.com Media Sales. Carney began his new job earlier this month. He works out of N.Y. and reports to Players' Tribune President JAYMEE MESSLER. In his new role, Carney will oversee sales and brand partnerships and work closely with ad agencies and brands to create multi-platform content and custom advertising experiences. Additionally, Carney will work with the executive team on overall business strategy.
