Attention! CBS To Continue Broadcasting Annual Army-Navy Game Through '28

CBS Sports will continue to broadcast the annual Army-Navy football game through '28 as part of a new 10-year deal announced this morning. The agreement includes broadcast, cable and digital rights across CBS platforms. CBS Sports Network will air shoulder programming around the game, including coverage of the “March On” during pregame coverage. CBSSN also will maintain rights to the annual Army-Navy men's basketball game. The football game will be streamed on CBSSports.com via “CBS All Access.” CBS has televised the football game every year since ’96. Last year's contest, which saw Army break a 14-year losing streak, drew 7.694 million viewers, marking the game's best audience in 24 years. The '17 game is set for Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. No site has been announced after this year, but representatives from 10 cities hoping to land the game attended the '16 game at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium. The game has been held on the second Saturday in December since '09 (THE DAILY).
