The Hawks on Friday morning officially announced the restructuring of their basketball operations department. MIKE BUDENHOLZER will continue to serve as coach and remain involved in basketball personnel decisions, but will resign from his role as President of Basketball Operations. WES WILCOX also has resigned from his role as GM and will become a special advisor to ownership. The Hawks will use an executive search firm to find a new GM (Hawks).

GRIDIRON GANGS: The Chiefs promoted Dir of Facilities BRANDON HAMILTON to VP/Stadium Operations and Dir of Ticket Sales & Operations TYLER KIRBY to VP/Ticketing (Chiefs)....The Broncos promoted TOM HECKERT to Senior Personnel Advisor, BRIAN STARK to Dir of College Scouting and A.J. DURSO to Dir of Pro Personnel (Broncos).

EXECS: The ECHL promoted Senior VP/Business Operations RYAN CRELIN to COO (ECHL)....The WNBA L.A. Sparks promoted VP/Ticket Sales DANITA JOHNSON to Senior VP. The team also named CHRISTY CALVIN Dir of PR & Communications and DANELLE WINFIELD Dir of Game Operations (THE DAILY)....London-based CSM Sport & Entertainment promoted ASHLEE HUFFMAN to GM of its North America motorsports practice. She will continue to be based out of CSM's Indianapolis office (CSM)....National Basketball Retired Players Association President & CEO ARNIE FIELKOW has announced his retirement in order to pursue other professional and personal interests (NBRPA)....Chicago-based Legacy Marketing named sports media tech company Sporttu Exec VP/Strategic Partnerships NATE STILLMAN VP/Business Development (THE DAILY).
