FAA Public Affairs Manager for the Pacific Division Ian Gregor said that the FAA also "needs at least 45 days notice before the start of construction, which they have yet to receive from the Raiders." GOODBYE, JOE: In Michigan, Brendan Savage noted the Red Wings are "planning an elaborate celebration" for Sunday's game against the Devils, when they "say farewell to Joe Louis Arena." Before the game, Red Wings players and 50 alumni will "walk a red carpet before entering the building." Parking lots around the arena will open at 11:00am ET for the 5:00pm game. The pucks "used in warmups will be available for purchase" and will "feature the logos of the Red Wings and Devils on each side and will be priced at $30." Other special "Farewell Season at The Joe" merchandise will be on sale.
