DC United Inks Multiyear Extension With Ticketmaster That Will Extend To New Stadium

DC United has signed a multiyear extension with Ticketmaster in which the company will remain the team’s official ticketing partner at the planned Audi Field, slated to open next year. Ticketmaster has been aligned with the MLS club since its '96 formation, and the new deal will cover both primary and secondary ticketing. DC United cited an expansion of Ticketmaster's "open platform to access key marketing and performance data" as a critical factor in the decision to renew its contract with the company.
