Buyers & Sellers: Matt Kemp Selling Five-Bedroom San Diego Estate At Auction

Braves LF MATT KEMP is selling his 15,844-square-foot San Diego County estate through N.Y.-based Concierge Auctions. Previously listed at $11.5M, the home will sell without reserve to the highest bidder on April 20. The five-bedroom estate features a formal living room, solarium dining area, cigar lounge, 1,200-bottle wine room, a theater, infinity edge pool, game room, full gym, steam spa, tennis court and outdoor kitchen (THE DAILY)....Baseball HOFer CAL RIPKEN JR.'s 25,000-square-foot, custom-built Maryland estate is for sale at $12.5M. The estate features a baseball field, locker room, batting cage, as well as a gym and full-sized basketball court ("Power Lunch," CNBC, 3/29). 

WHERE YOU CALL HOME: Tennis player NOVAK DJOKOVIC "just snapped up a three-bedroom condo in Eighty Seven Park, the new North Miami Beach project." Three-bedroom units at the Miami address are going for up to $8.9M, and a penthouse is priced at $38M (PAGESIX.com, 3/27)....Rams coach SEAN MCVAY has "bought a home" in Encino, Calif. for $2.71M. The contemporary-style home "features pocketing glass doors, a swimming pool and a covered patio." A row of "built-in benches lines a pavilion above the swimming pool." The roughly 4,700 square feet of open-concept living space includes a "dining room, six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms" (LATIMES.com, 3/28). 

BUYERS & SELLERS: Former NFLer QUINCY BLACK "listed his six-bedroom, 9,050-square-foot mansion in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood" for $2.995M. Black paid $2.65M for the mansion in April '15 (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 3/23)....Former MLBer J.T. SNOW is "parting ways" with his California home for $1.599M. The 3,750-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home "features a gourmet kitchen, beamed vaulted ceilings, wine room and a patio among many other amenities." The home was last sold in '16 for $1.45M (MERCURYNEWS.com, 3/23).
