Cardinals Unveil Busch Stadium Upgrades, Including All-Inclusive Club Area

The MLB Cardinals on Wednesday unveiled improvements to Busch Stadium, including the addition of the Perficient Red Jacket Club, a "new all-inclusive area located on the suite level down the right field line," according to Veneta Rizvic of the ST. LOUIS BUSINESS JOURNAL. The new club will "accommodate both individual and group purchases." The Cardinals' Family Pavilion also has been "redesigned to include two new play structures for children, called the Fredbird’s Nest and the Play Zone." Also, 150 speakers were "installed throughout Busch Stadium, which will feed home radio game audio throughout various parts" of the ballpark. The team also announced the "launch of the Cardinals Nation Food Truck" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 3/29). In St. Louis, Daniel Neman noted lines getting into Busch Stadium can be "long and frustrating," so beginning Opening Day, backpacks "will be banned" from the ballpark. Cardinals VP/Stadium Operations Joe Abernathy said, "What really slows it down are big bags, multiple-compartment bags." Also banned from the ballpark this year are "open beverage containers" (STLTODAY.com, 3/30).
