FS1 To Carry BIG3 Hoops Games On Tape Delay During League's Inaugural Season

FS1 will carry Ice Cube's BIG3 three-on-three league on tape delay this summer. For the league’s inaugural season, FS1 will tape the Sunday games and package them for Monday night coverage, starting June 26. Fox' broadcast channel will carry the league championship live on Aug. 26. No other scheduling or financial details were disclosed. The eight-team, half-court league debuts June 25 at Barclays Center. The format calls for the teams to travel to 10 cities during the season, playing back-to-back games each Sunday throughout the summer. The BIG3 league has signed Allen Iverson and Chauncey Billups as team captains for its debut season. Coaches signed to the league include Basketball HOFers Julius Erving, Clyde Drexler and George Gervin.
