Michigan Int'l Speedway named Daytona Int'l Speedway Dir of Consumer Marketing JASON LUCAS Dir of Marketing & Communications, effective Monday (THE DAILY). Univ. of Texas-San Antonio Senior Associate AD BRAD PARROTT will retire from the school in June. Parrott, who has worked at the school since '01, will join San Antonio Christian School in July in a "fundraising and developmental position" (MYSANANTONIO.com, 3/2)....Disney Media Distribution President BEN PYNE is "exiting his post after a 25-year run." Pyne has served in his current position since '07. He has "steered the company’s negotiations" with multichannel video programming distributors and streaming platforms and "helped drive the company’s push into VOD amid a period of great transition for programmers and distributors." Disney "expects to name a successor by the time Pyne exits in late summer" (VARIETY.com, 3/2)....Latham & Watkins named attorney ADAM SULLINS partner in the firm's Entertainment, Sports & Media Practice. Sullins, who had a previous stint as Upper Deck VP & General Counsel, will be based out of Latham & Watkins' Chicago and L.A. offices (THE DAILY)....The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority named Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dir of Marketing LISA MOTLEY Sports Marketing & Special Events Manager (LVCVA).
