Turner Sports promoted Exec VP & GM MATT HONG to the newly created position of COO, reporting directly to Turner Sports President LENNY DANIELS. Hong will now oversee day-to-day operations for NBA TV, the NBA App, NBA League Pass and NBA.com, while adding responsibility for programming for all sports assets across TNT, TBS and truTV. Hong will continue to oversee strategy, rights acquisitions, marketing and digital, as well as manage day-to-day business relationships with the NCAA, MLB and PGA of America. Now reporting to Hong will be Turner Sports Senior VP/Programming and NBA Digital GM SCOOTER VERTINO, Senior VP/Business VAL IMMELE, Senior VP/Digital MARK JOHNSON and Bleacher Report CEO DAVE FINOCCHIO. Hong joined Turner in '08 (Turner Sports).

EXECS: Adidas named Wasserman VP/Global Soccer AARON MAINES Dir of Soccer Sports Marketing. Maines will oversee the brand's partnerships with MLS, its clubs and athletes.
