Overnight Ratings: PGA Tour Honda Classic Down From '16 With Daytona 500 Competition

NBC yesterday drew a 2.2 overnight for the final round of the PGA Tour Honda Classic, which saw Rickie Fowler win the event by four strokes. Last year’s final round, which did not go head-to-head with the Daytona 500 and saw Adam Scott defeat Sergio Garcia by one stroke, drew a 2.6 overnight. The event in ’15 saw a Monday finish due to weather. Despite yesterday’s final round airing head-to-head with the Daytona 500, it was the best non-NASCAR sports telecast of the weekend.

The chart below lists overnight ratings from weekend sports telecasts on broadcast TV.
