Sources said that 49ers QB COLIN KAEPERNICK and XAM Sports, the agency that represented him since the '11 draft, have "parted ways." Kaepernick "foreshadowed this move midway through last season when he restructured his contract" and Select Sports Group agent JEFF NALLEY "handled the final negotiations." It is unknown whether Nalley will "represent Kaepernick." The NFLPA "requires a five-day waiting period before hiring a new agent" (SACBEE.com, 2/13).

NOT GIVING IN
: IndyCar team Owner A.J. FOYT is "looking for a 'fountain of youth' and will "undergo stem cell therapy in Cancun." Foyt said, "I'm not in good health like I used to be and, if my son LARRY hadn't taken over (running) the team four years ago, I would have had to shut it down. It's something he likes to do and I'm backing him 100 percent" (INDYCAR.com, 2/14)

FOR A GOOD CAUSE: Under Armour and the Ravens "donated a combined $75,000 to restore free bus rides for Baltimore public school students for the rest of this school year" (Baltimore SUN, 2/15)....Royals P DANNY DUFFY is "donating $500 for every strikeout this season to Noah's Bandage Project." The non-profit "makes colorful bandages for kids while also raising funds for pediatric cancer research." It is named for NOAH WILSON, who died in '15 at the age of 7. He had a "rare bone cancer called Ewing's sarcoma" (K.C. STAR, 2/15).

NAMES: Organize Florida and the Council for Popular Democracy Action are calling for Disney Chair & CEO BOB IGER to "resign" from PRESIDENT TRUMP's economic advisory council. An Organize Florida rep said that "almost 400,000 signatures have been collected on online petitions" (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 2/15)....Japan-based SoftBank is buying private equity firm Fortress Investment Group, which is co-helmed by Bucks co-Owner WES EDENS, for $3.3B (N.Y. TIMES, 2/15)....Michigan State women’s gymnastics coach KATHIE KLAGES retired yesterday, a day after the university “suspended her and hours after a second woman said in court documents that the coach discouraged her years ago from reporting concerns" about then-MSU doctor LARRY NASSAR (LANSING STATE JOURNAL, 2/15)....Rams Owner STAN KROENKE has “expanded once again his Colorado real estate empire,” acquiring 4.7-acre Lone Tree Commons shopping center in Douglas County, Colo., for $11.13M (BIZJOURNALS.com, 2/14)....Patriots WR DANNY AMENDOLA was “doing modeling duty” on Monday night at PHILIPP PLEIN’s N.Y.
