Canadian Golf Phenom Brooke Henderson Locks Up Multiple New Sponsorship Deals

Golfer Brooke Henderson has signed a "flurry of new sponsorship agreements in recent days," and she will be "wearing several additional logos front and centre on her clothing" for the rest of the LPGA season, according to Bob Weeks of TSN.ca. Henderson has a multiyear arrangement with railway company Canadian Pacific, which "currently sponsors the Canadian Pacific Women’s Open." Henderson in the past has called the LPGA event the "most important tournament on her schedule." Henderson will "wear a CP logo on her left shirt front and, along with veteran Lorie Kane, serve as ambassadors" for the tournament, slated for Aug. 21-27 in Ottawa. Henderson has also joined Mastercard's "team of high-profile golfers," including Tom Watson, Brandt Snedeker, Graeme McDowell, Ian Poulter and Mark O’Meara. Henderson is the "only LPGA player on the team." Meanwhile, after a "mid-year switch to Skechers footwear last year, Henderson has made the full transition and will wear the company’s clothing line, Skechers Performance, this season." Henderson also has become a "member of the Rolex team," joining a list of players including Jason Day, Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus. Rolex also "sponsors the women’s world ranking" (TSN.ca, 2/14).
