NoSweat Uses Technology In Headwear Liners To Keep Sweat Out Of The Face Of Athletes

NoSweat, a Minnesota-based company billed as a pioneer in perspiration technology, now has a new website and subscription service.

The company says its disposable, adhesive liners use patented Sweat Lock technology to absorb perspiration from the inside of headwear such as hats and helmets. For athletes, that means no sweat getting into the eyes and onto the face.

The lightweight liners are made with several layers of fabric and a hypoallergenic topsheet the company says wick away sweat and reduce odor without damaging the headwear. It says the liners can last between one to three uses. The company sells subscriptions of three, 12 or 25 liners at $4.99, $16.99 or $29.99 monthly.

“Sweating can cause issues, especially while wearing headwear,” NoSweat Founder Justin Johnson said in a statement.

“(The technology) is a simple, inexpensive fix that people need to try.”

The New York Rangers are among the 12 NHL teams that have players regularly wearing and testing NoSweat, and also according to the company, its biggest customer to date is the NHL Officials Association, which ordered more than 17,000 performance liners for this season. NoSweat says its liners are also used by athletes on the PGA Tour, in NASCAR, Formula 1, Motocross and MLB.
