Ballmer Brings "Celebrity Apprentice" To Clippers Game For Weekly Challenge

Clippers Owner STEVE BALLMER played a key role in last night's episode of NBC's "CELEBRITY APPRENTICE," as he helped judge which of the two teams fired up a Clippers crowd best. Ballmer said, "We get our fans fired up to support our team. Clipper Nation has to come alive. So at a timeout tonight, we need a high-energy, high-intensity presentation that promotes the Clipper brand and fires up Clipper Nation.” Co-host PATRICK KNAPP SCHWARZENEGGER told the teams they will “have access to the Clippers' Hoop Troop and T-shirt cannons." The teams had to create a "signature Clippers T-shirt" that would be distributed to the crowd. Ballmer: “We're going judge you on three things tonight. No. 1: Overall creativity of your presentation. No. 2: Let's see some really exciting t-shirt designs. And No. 3: You have really got to get our fans on their feet, supporting their team." Former NFLer RICKY WILLIAMS and former WNBAer LISA LESLIE were the competing project managers. Williams' team went on the court to fire up the crowd with a chant of “We! Love! This! Team!” and shooting T-shirts they designed into the crowd. During a later timeout, Leslie’s team ran on-court with team member BOY GEORGE singing a song he wrote while Leslie rapped, Leslie did not shoot a basketball or handle one in any way, and during the boardroom segment, Ballmer told Leslie, “It would have been special for that crowd to see somebody who dominated in that building for so long to show them a little bit.” Despite that, Ballmer said of the song Leslie’s team wrote and sang, “I can see a future for such a song.” Leslie’s team won two of the three challenges, so show host ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER told Williams he was “terminated” ("Celebrity Apprentice," NBC, 1/30).
