Golf.com Unveils Redsigned Website Emphasizing More Visuals, Better Navigation

SI's Golf.com today debuts a new redesign to its site, highlighted by a larger editorial focus on participatory elements such as equipment reviews, coaching resources and course and travel information. There also is a new channel within the site from writer Alan Shipnuck called The Knockdown. The new site, which features more emphasis on visuals and redesigned navigation, was led by SI Group Head of Product Krys Krycinski and Dir of Platform Engineering Alex Charalambides. “We identified what we do well and not so well -- and, perhaps most important, what we needed to blow up and build from scratch,” wrote Golf.com Exec Dir Alan Bastable in an introductory letter on the site. “Then, bit by byte, we put the site back together. The result, after more than a few shanks, curses and blisters, is what you see before you today: a new and vastly improved Golf.com.”
