Minor League Baseball Makes Several Hires, Promotions In Effort To Build Out Capabilities

MiLB has made several hires and promotions as it continues to reshape its organization. The governing body for the affiliated minors has brought on the following: former IBM User Experience Designer RYAN FOOSE as Senior Manager of Brand Development; former Ironman Account Manager for Partnership Services SCOTT ESTER as Manager of Partnership Marketing; former Coca-Cola Beverages of Florida Account Exec CURTIS WALKER as Manager of Business Development & Media; former GameStop Senior Game Advisor CHRISTOPHER WALKER as Coordinator of E-Commerce & Merchandising; and former MiLB umpire THOMAS HONED as Manager of Umpire Technology. MiLB also named PAIGE HEGEDUS Coordinator for Special Events. MiLB also promoted the following: ANDY SCHULTZ to Assistant Dir of Baseball & Business Operations; CORY BERNSTINE to Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy & Research; and AMBER KUKULYA to Senior Manager of HR. Each exec will be based out of MiLB’s St. Petersburg, Fla., HQ, and most will report to Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer DAVID WRIGHT. "We’re making a series of strategic investments where we’re bringing in additional members to our team, promoting others, and really building out our capabilities, commensurate with the growth in the business,” Wright said. “In the case of the promotions, this is a sneak peek at the future of Minor League Baseball. And with the new hires, we’ve brought in a lot of different types of experiences we think we will really help us.”
