Serena Williams, one of the most popular and decorated tennis players in the world, said yes. And she announced her engagement on Reddit.

Williams posted a cartoon version of her now-fiance and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian down on one knee with a diamond and a cartoon character of herself holding out her hand. The caption for the image of the two looking like Reddit mascots reads, “Future Mrs. KnOthing.”

On the site’s “r/isaidyes” forum, Williams wrote: “I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage awaited. Destination: Rome. To escort me to my very own “charming.” Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance. This time he made it not by chance. But by choice. Down on one knee. He said 4 words.”

The couple had been dating for about a year but kept its relationship out of the public eye for the most part. No wedding date has been disclosed. Currently, Williams is preparing to compete in the Australia Open in January.
