Reggie Love's Interview Show On Monumental Sports Net Set For Beal, Could Land Obama

Reggie Love, the former aide to President Obama, has Wizards G Bradley Beal already lined up for his Monumental Sports Network interview show and said "there's a possibility" of landing Obama in the future, according to Scott Allen of the WASHINGTON POST. Love was "mum when asked what other personalities will be featured in future episodes" of his new interview show on the OTT service. The Dec. 7 debut episode of the show -- dubbed "The Walk-And-Talk" -- went "inside the kitchen" with DC-area chef Jeremiah Langhorne. The second episode, which features Beal, "will be released" in early January. Love said that he has known Monumental VP & GM Zach Leonsis for years and, "as someone who enjoys getting to learn about people, was intrigued by the opportunity" to host an interview show. Love: "The idea had a lot of merit. I think the network has a lot of merit. I think there’s a lot of excess demand in the market that they have an ability to tap into." Love, a former Duke football and basketball player, also has stories "about Obama's fandom, including his admiration for North Carolina men's basketball coach Roy Williams." Love: "He loves Roy Williams. It’s sickening how much he loves Roy Williams. I admire Roy and I admire the Carolina program, but I still have these thorns in my sides because (Obama) never visited Duke’s campus" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 12/12).
