In DC, Master Tesfatsion noted Redskins TE Jordan Reed, who signed an endorsement deal in September to become a Jordan Brand athlete, has been "outfitted in Jordan gear all season long." Reed was one of five NFL players to join the Jordan Brand this season. His sneaker game, "both on and off the field, has ascended at the same rate as his play this year." Last Monday, Reed "showed up to Redskins Park wearing the 'Space Jams' with the matching 'Tune Squad' jersey." At practice last week, Reed was "rocking the Air Jordan IX low cleats with an exclusive colorway for him, featuring a gold upper and a burgundy, patent-leather midsole" (WASHINGTON POST, 12/11).

YOUNG STAR: Bauer Hockey on Friday announced a partnership with NHL Jets F Patrik Laine. Laine, a native of Finland, was the No. 2 overall selection in the '16 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year old will be featured prominently in upcoming global marketing campaigns for the entire Bauer Vapor line of products, as well as many regional marketing activities in North America and Finland. Laine joins other Bauer athletes including Rangers G Henrik Lundqvist, Capitals LW Alex Ovechkin, Sabres C Jack Eichel and Blackhawks RW Patrick Kane and C Jonathan Toews (Bauer).

: Baltimore-based Northeastern Supply will mark its 24th consecutive season of driver and team sponsorship in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in '17. It will be the company's fourth consecutive season supporting a driver and team from JR Motorsports as they return to sponsor Justin Allgaier and the #7 Brandt Professional Agriculture team (Northeastern).
