Me And My Shadow: Malcolm Butler Covers Antonio Brown All Day In Visa/Papa John's Ad

Patriots CB Malcolm Butler and Steelers WR Antonio Brown appear in a new Visa commercial that features a "fictional account of Butler sticking to Brown in coverage," according to Nick O'Malley of MASSLIVE.com. Butler covers Brown "all day," from the moment he wakes up to the moment Brown "arrives at the stadium to grab a Papa John's pizza he ordered (which is promptly intercepted by Butler)." It is a "huge step forward for Butler's progress as a star." Brown is "arguably" the NFL's best WR, so being chosen to appear alongside him in this ad is a "nice boost for Butler's profile" (MASSLIVE.com, 12/5). ESPN BOSTON's Mike Reiss noted the commercial shows Butler follow Brown "out of his hotel room (room 84, of course), around a housekeeping cart, and into an elevator." As Brown exits the hotel and is "tossed his car keys, Butler breaks up the 'pass' and the keys wind up in a sewer." They also go through parts of downtown Pittsburgh, with Butler "shadowing Brown as he races toward a hot-dog cart." As they continue their run, Brown "gains some separation and places his pizza order." Butler gains ground, and they are "running through the streets again toward Heinz Field" (ESPNBOSTON.com, 12/5).
