HBO said it is “very happy” with its partnership with BAM Tech despite a report from the N.Y. Post that the premium programmer wants to get out of its deal with the streaming infrastructure company sometime next year. MULTICHANNEL NEWS' Jeff Baumgartner cited a source as saying that while it is "possible that the programmer might bring in-house some of the services provided today by BAMTech, there are no imminent plans to migrate the HBO Now technology in-house" (MULTICHANNEL.com, 11/30). 

THE RUNDOWN: HBO's "Ballers" will be the "latest TV series relocating to California to take advantage of the state’s expanded tax incentive program." The series will move to the L.A. area "from Miami, where it shot its first two seasons." The show has been approved to receive $8.3M in tax credits "for shooting its next 10 episodes in California" (L.A. TIMES, 12/1). 

WELCOME BACK: ISabres C Jack Eichel's return from an ankle injury Tuesday night against the Senators "led to a season-high 9.8 rating" on MSG Network, "well above the 5.5 rating the Sabres have averaged to this point in the season" (BUFFALO NEWS, 12/1).
