Overnight Ratings: Alabama's Blowout Leads To Iron Bowl Drop, Apple Cup Up On Fox

CBS earned a 4.7 overnight rating on Saturday afternoon for its coverage of the Iron Bowl, which saw Alabama beat Auburn 30-12. That rating is down 11% from a 5.3 last year for Alabama's 29-13 win in the 3:30pm ET window. The game two years ago aired on ESPN and drew a 7.2 overnight in primetime. Meanwhile, Fox drew a 2.0 overnight on Friday afternoon for Washington's win over rival Washington State in the annual Apple Cup game. That number is up 67% from a 1.2 for the same matchup last year.
