In Philadelphia, John George noted the Eagles have "reached an eight-year contract extension" with Thomas Jefferson Univ. and Philadelphia-based Rothman Institute Orthopaedics. Jefferson is "one of the longest-tenured partners of the Eagles, originally teaming up with the organization as a 'founding partner'" in '04. Rothman Institute, which has been the team orthopaedic physicians for the Eagles since '04, "joined this year as a marketing partner as well." The Eagles and Jefferson will continue their “Tackling Breast Cancer” campaign, which has raised $1.2M for Jefferson’s Breast Care Center since '05 (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/17).

SIGN ME UP: In Indianapolis, Anthony Schoettle noted Indiana-based Just Marketing Int'l this week "signed two deals" for the '17 NASCAR season with Baltimore-based automotive and tool brand GearWrench and appliance and electronics retailer HHGregg. JMI "worked out a deal" for GearWrench to "sponsor the No. 1 GearWrench Chevrolet SS for four races in NASCAR’s premier series with Jamie McMurray piloting the Chip Ganassi Racing car." Meanwhile, JMI will continue to "assist HHGregg with its Andretti Autosport partnership as the co-primary sponsor of the No. 27 Andretti Autosport Honda driven by Marco Andretti" (IBJ.com, 11/16).

NBA NOTES: The Pacers have made Indianapolis-based law firm Wagner Reese the official injury attorneys of the team. Wagner Reese as part of a multiyear deal will have in-stadium signage at Bankers Life Fieldhouse as well as radio and broadcast ads and live mentions. Wagner Reese will also sponsor the pregame injury report (Pacers)....The Hornets and Kumho Tire have agreed to a partnership, making it the official tire of the team. Kumho Tire will be the Hornets' exclusive team partner in the automobile tire manufacturer category. Kumho is the official tire of the NBA (THE DAILY).
