While the Jaguars have gone 14-42 over the past four years, fans "remain incredibly loyal to a product that’s not rewarding them," according to Gene Frenette of the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION. Jaguars’ attendance numbers -- unlike local TV ratings -- have "remained solidly consistent for a team giving them little reward in return." The average attendance (based on tickets distributed) has "held steady" at 59,940 in '13, 62,962 in '14, 61,464 in '15 and 61,973 this season. Jaguars President Mark Lamping said, "Our fans have performed so much better than the team. We’re thankful for the support and patience they’ve shown. But at some point and time, patience runs out.” Frenette writes for Sunday's Salute to the Military game against the Texans, with 5,000 seats going to local servicemen and servicewomen, the Jaguars "have to start giving their fan base a reason to stay fully engaged." Jaguars WR Marqise Lee said, "We understand how important it is this week to handle our business.” Frenette notes with the team sitting at 2-6, the sales pitch for '17 tickets "becomes all the more challenging" (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 11/11).
