The Padres promoted Exec VP/Business Administration & General Counsel ERIK GREUPNER to COO. Greupner served in his former role for three years and originally joined the Padres in December '10 as Senior VP/General Counsel. His promotion to COO "does not equate to replacing" former President & CEO MIKE DEE. The team still intends to name a CEO (SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 11/8).

TICKET BROKER: Mobile-based ticketing outlet Gametime named ScoreBig Senior VP/Sales LARRY MARTIN Senior VP/Business Development. Before working with ScoreBig, Martin worked with the NBA in its Team Marketing and Business Operations (TMBO) group, as well as with the Heat. With Gametime, Martin will take on a newly created role that looks to strike new sports industry partnerships. He will be based in N.Y. Gametime CRO COLIN EVANS said, "We're all obviously aware of what's been happening with ScoreBig, but it was obvious that Larry was a real asset, was somebody who has a lot of contacts in the industry, and could really help us build out our team relationships" (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).
