Speedo Promotes John Graham To President, Filling Position Vacated By Jim Gerson

PVH Corp. today at a major company sales meeting will announce it has promoted Speedo USA Senior VP/Sales JOHN GRAHAM JR. to President, replacing JIM GERSON four months after he resigned. Graham first came to Speedo in July '15, but spent nearly two decades in sales at Nike earlier in his career. He also held sales positions at Easton and Quiksilver, where he focused on e-commerce and wholesale. Graham told THE DAILY he will focus on exploiting the full power of PVH to broaden Speedo’s appeal, reinvest in the business and find efficiencies. A popular mainstay among competitive swimmers, Speedo has recently begun seeking a broader market. This summer, it launched Speedo Fit, a line designed for people looking to use the pool for all manner of exercise. "I see it as the opportunity of a lifetime for me, because it’s really the culmination of a very successful career,” Graham said. PVH leadership decided to leave the president role vacant over the summer to focus on the Olympics and "level set" the organization before naming a replacement, he said. In a statement, PVH CEO for Heritage Brands & North America KEN DUANE said Graham "possesses the ideal blend of sales expertise, success in building strong teams and intuitive sports business sense. We look forward to watching Speedo USA grow under his leadership."
