The Blues' 5-2 win over the Blackhawks on Wednesday on opening night is "believed to be the second-best St. Louis rating for a Blues opener ever shown on cable." The 6.1 local rating on NBCSN "trailed only the 6.4 rating" earned by FS Midwest for the Blues’ first game" of the '14-15 season. The Blues are "set for the nine more appearances" on NBCSN (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 10/14).
