ESPN’s Tony Kornheiser said former NFLer Peyton Manning is having a better season than his brother, Giants QB Eli Manning, because Peyton is “endorsing every product that’s not nailed down: Insurance, pizza, cars, DirecTV and something called OtterBox.” ESPN’s Michael Wilbon said Peyton is the “best athlete commercial pitchman of his time” and his DirecTV ad with singer Lionel Richie "alone is a better season than Eli is having." Referencing another DirecTV ad, Wilbon said Eli is only "penciled in for Tuesday” (“PTI,” ESPN, 10/11).

FOR A GOOD CAUSE: UFC Gym is partnering with Young Survival Coalition to raise recognition and charitable donations for this Saturday’s Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Participating UFC Gyms across the U.S. will sell pink ribbons, pink boxing gloves and other pink fighting equipment and hold events on Saturday. The proceeds will go to Young Survival Coalition, a charitable organization which benefits women aged 35 and under who are diagnosed with breast cancer. UFC Gym, which first launched in ‘09, has more than 135 facilities in the world (Liz Mullen, Staff Writer).

SHARK BITES: The Greg Norman Company has undergone a company-wide rebrand, featuring an evolution of the iconic shark logo and a new company name. The company was previously known as Great White Shark Enterprises. Consumers will see the newly established brand identity roll out across all businesses throughout ’17 (Greg Norman Company).
