Buyers & Sellers: Lance Briggs Lists Illinois Home For $2.499M; Bazemore Buys In Atlanta

Former NFLer LANCE BRIGGS has "listed his five-bedroom, English-style house" in Northfield, Ill., for $2.499M. The 5,158-square-foot house "has seven baths, three fireplaces" and a first-floor master suite. There is also a "lower level with a wine cellar and a media/game room with a lighted bar area" (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 10/3).

BREAK EVEN: Turkish club Galatasaray S.K. MF NIGEL DE JONG has put his "newly built home on the market" in L.A. for $4.3M, the "same price he paid for the property in May." Features of the former Galaxy member's home "include a home theater, formal living and dining rooms and a marble-topped chef's kitchen" inside some 7,000 square feet (LATIMES.com, 10/3).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Hawks G KENT BAZEMORE has bought a 7,250-square-foot home in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood for $2.6M. The home was built in '15 and "has seven bedrooms, seven full-baths and three half-baths" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 9/30)....Red Sox P DAVID PRICE last month paid $3.3M in cash "for a house on St. Petersburg's Snell Isle." Built five years ago, the four-bedroom, six bath home "has 6,500 heated square feet." Price's agent, BO MCKINNIS, said that his client is "not expected to live there" (TAMPABAY.com, 10/5)....Former USWNT G HOPE SOLO has sold her home in Kirkland, Wash., for $1.75M. The property "centers on a 5,330-square-foot main house with three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms." Features include a "sunken sports court, a swimming pool and a detached garage with an attached workshop" (LATIMES.com, 10/1).
