Delaware North has named CARLOS BERNAL President of Sportservice, its sports concessions firm. Bernal, Sportservice’s COO & interim President since November, replaces former president JOHN WENTZELL, who left the company late last year. Bernal's relationship with Sportservice dates to '86, when he served as GM at the old Chicago Stadium. From '89-91, he was the vendor’s GM at old Busch Stadium before leaving to pursue other opportunities. Prior to re-joining Delaware North, Bernal was CEO of Wagamama North America, a Japanese-themed restaurant chain (Don Muret, Staff Writer). 

SAYING GOODBYE: Mizuno USA President BOB PUCCINI "announced his retirement after more than 21 years with the company." He "will retire Dec. 31 and become" non-executive Chair. He "will also remain a director" on the Mizuno USA BOD. He will be replaced by current COO MARK O'BRIEN, who will also be Chair of Mizuno Canada Ltd starting Jan. 1, 2017 (BIZJOURNALS.com, 10/3). 

EXECS: Dick's Sporting Goods promoted Exec VP/Product Development & Merchandise Planning LEE BELITSKY to CFO. He replaces COO ANDRE HAWAUX, who "has acted as CFO since the departure" of TERI LIST-STOLL in August. Hawaux "will continue his role as COO" (PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE-REVIEW, 10/4)....Learfield's Cal Bears Sports Properties named JOE MULFORD Exec Dir. Mulford previously served as Padres Dir of Partnership Development (Learfield)....The Single-A South Atlantic League Lexington Legends named JESSE SCAGLION Dir of Corporate Sales and JILLIAN WAITKUS Exec Assistant to the President & CEO (Lexington Legends).
