Buyers & Sellers: Tennis HOFer Evert Lists Five-Acre Boca Raton Estate For $5.995M

Tennis HOFer CHRIS EVERT has listed her home in Boca Raton, Fla., for $5.995M. The property "spans more than five acres" and includes a "putting green and a tennis court." It also features "two guest houses, a nine-plus-car garage, a swimming pool and a gym." In all, there are "eight bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms" in nearly 12,300 square feet of living space (LATIMES.com, 9/28)....Golfer RICKIE FOWLER has "put his waterfront home in Jupiter, Fla., on the market" for $2.85M. The two-story home sits on "more than half an acre." Walls of windows "overlook 123 feet of frontage along the Loxahatchee River," and the interior, with more than 4,600 square feet of space and four bedrooms, "has a clean, minimalist vibe." Fowler bought the house six years ago for $1.6M (LATIMES.com, 9/29)....Free agent P JONATHAN PAPELBON sold his DC home for $2.9M, which is precisely what he "paid for it a little more than a year ago" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 9/29).
