MICHAEL SHAW has returned to Groupon after a seven-month stint with global sports management consultancy GlideSlope. Shaw headed sports partnerships and business development for Groupon from '13 until February of this year. He will now take on an expanded role overseeing sports partnerships in Groupon's reorganized Things to Do division (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

EXECS: Broadcast tech company SportsMedia Technology named former ESPN Senior VP/Product Innovation JED DRAKE Exec VP/Emerging Technologies. Drake oversaw development of next-gen tech systems during his time at ESPN (SMT)....The PGA Tour Greenbrier Classic named ERIC JONKE Dir of Sponsorship Sales (Greenbrier Classic)....The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl transitioned Dir of Communications JESSICA LUMSDEN to Dir of Integrated Marketing and promoted Marketing Coordinator KACIE HUDSON to Marketing & Digital Manager. The event also named Edelman Senior Account Exec DILLON FAULKNER Communications Manager. Faulkner was the primary lead on the Peach Bowl's account while at Edelman (Peach Bowl)....IMG College named Senior Account Exec for UConn JOSH REESE GM of IMG's American Athletic Conference properties (AAC)....The NHL Coaches' Association named MICHAEL HIRSHFELD Exec Dir. He succeeds GEORGE KINGSTON, who recently announced his retirement (NHLCA)....Colorado-based Famous Brands named former NFLer DUSTIN LYMAN CEO. Famous Brands is the parent company of Mrs. Fields Cookies and TCBY Yogurt (DENVERPOST.com, 9/21).
