Krzyzewski Partners With CAA, Guber On Leadership Training Program PowerForward

Duke men’s basketball coach MIKE KRZYZEWSKI has partnered with CAA, Apple Senior VP/Internet Software & Services EDDY CUE, Mandalay Entertainment CEO and Warriors co-Owner PETER GUBER and others to create PowerForward, a new digital video-based leadership training program. The b-to-b product is being targeted at emerging and large-scale businesses, and will involve a variety of detailed case studies and interactive components. The project, also involving Celtics co-Owner and Bain Capital Managing Dir STEVE PAGLIUCA, is an outgrowth of Krzyzewski’s years of activity in public speaking, writing books, and work with Duke’s Fuqua School of Business to create its Center on Leadership and Ethics. “I’ve been talking about leadership and leading my whole career. The question was how I could keep doing this not only while I was coaching, but after I’m done coaching,” said Krzyzewski. “So we spent two years developing this, and have landed on something we believe will be very engaging.” CAA is incubating PowerForward, and the operation will be led by co-Founder & CEO CHRISSIE GORMAN a former consultant for Bain & Co.
