FS Detroit Launches New Branding Campaign Promoting City During Tigers Games

FS Detroit is "launching a new branding campaign during" Tigers games with a "series of five cinéma vérité-style commercials," according to Bill Shea of CRAIN'S DETROIT BUSINESS. The first commercial will "formally air as a 10-second promo during" Tuesday’s game against the White Sox, and the full 60-second version will "premiere during the postgame show." A 30-second version will air "during the rest of the week, and the spot also will be used on digital and social media." FS Detroit Dir of Marketing Lauren Pobert in an email wrote, "Our intent [is] to show all the good in Detroit. Over the past several years, Detroit has had so much national negative press, yet we have so many phenomenal and positive things going on here." Shea noted there will be "five commercials unveiled over the next five weeks," and the campaign will include Pistons and Red Wings versions "later this year." FS Detroit's campaign will also "promote how games on the network are consumed by fans on TV, tablets and mobile devices as a shared experience woven into daily lives" (CRAINSDETROIT.com, 8/31).
