Fox Sports GO App Now Available On Apple TV Platform With Ability To Watch Four Games At Once

Apple TV has been slowly but surely working with leagues to provide more sports content on its platform. This trend continued recently with the announcement that the FOX Sports GO application is now available on Apple TV. U.S. Apple TV customers with packages including FOX Sports TV networks will be able to access FOX Sports, FS1, FS2, FOX Sports Regional Networks, FOX College Sports, FOX Deportes, and FOX Soccer Plus on the Apple TV platform.

The programming in its entirety will be available to Apple TV users, as they can stream over 3,000 live events, studio shows and other content. The programming will include leagues such as, the NFL, MLB, UFC, FIFA World Cup, and many more.

“Apple TV will be a game changer for viewing live sports, delivering up to four simultaneous streams for fans watching their favorite teams. FOX Sports GO users will also be able to watch at a remarkably fluid 60 frames per second,” said Devin Poolman, Senior Vice President and Product Development at FOX Sports Digital.

As convenient as it sounds, Apple TV will offer an even more unique way to view channels on the FOX Sports Go app with four-way game watching.

Yes, you heard that right.

The split-screen interface that aligns the live content side-by-side looks like it could be a complete home-run among consumers. Along with its side-by-side ability, Apple TV will also offer a 60 frames-per-second streaming rate of the FOX Sports GO app, which according to Fox will allow users to, “follow fast action on the field more closely.”

Streaming is dominating the way we prefer to watch shows, events, the whole nine yards and other networks are continuing to enhance the streaming bells and whistles they offer viewers.

This past weekend, NBC Sports debuted its own new feature in the U.S., Goal Rush. Much like a NFL RedZone type of feel, NBC will stream multiple Premier League soccer match highlights (usually locking in on the game that has the chance for the highest scoring), but will cut away for other goal scoring highlights.

Goal Zone is also available on Apple TV’s platform, but there’s a catch. For those individuals who are die-hard fans, the probability of fully watching your team is slim since the app sticks with that one game for the majority of the time.

As an avid sports fan, your options for watching your favorite teams have grown exponentially. The addition of applications such as FOX Sports GO and Goal Rush to an extremely successful Apple TV platform are seemingly strong offerings for viewers that are unique from the traditional television viewing experience.

So hurry home, grab your favorite game day grub and sink deep into that extra comfortable lazy boy recliner because with these options, you will never want to leave your seat.
