247SPORTS.com's Jeff Ermann cited sources as saying that basketball player Terrance Ferguson, who turned down college offers to play professionally in Australia, has "agreed to an endorsement deal with Under Armour." Terms of the deal, which was first reported in June and "hasn't been announced publicly, weren't available." Ferguson after high school "opted to ink with an Australian professional team amid academic eligibility concerns." By going pro overseas and signing with UA, Ferguson "follows in the footsteps" of Knicks G Brandon Jennings and Nuggets G Emmanuel Mudiay (247SPORTS.com, 8/15).

MILK MAN: In Indianapolis, Anthony Schoettle noted Colts TE Dwayne Allen is "ready to step into one of the biggest local player sponsorship deals." The American Dairy Association Indiana last week announced that Allen is succeeding Colts P Pat McAfee as spokesperson, and as part of the deal, Allen "will be the association’s Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassador." Financial terms of the deal "were not disclosed" (IBJ.com, 8/15).

KICK THE CAN: THE MMQB's Dominic Bonvissuto reported Bud Light is "spending this week in Southern California -- with three people NFL fans know well -- filming commercials that will begin airing nationally in early September." The spots will "build on the popularity" of the brand's team can promotion, which was introduced in '13 and has "given Bud Light a boost in sales every fall." A Bud Light spokesperson said that the fan bases that "bought the most cans last season" were the Cardinals, Ravens, Eagles, Patriots and Bills (MMQB.SI.com, 8/12).

ELECTRIC SLIDE: MOTORSPORT.com's Sam Smith notes Sony and Panasonic are among the brands to have "submitted tenders for the Formula E 2018 battery deal." The two companies join Red Bull Technologies and a "substantial number" of other applicants who have "expressed an interest." Both Panasonic and Sony "have kept a close eye on Formula E since its inception with various key figures from the companies having attended races" (MOTORSPORT.com, 8/16).
