Axalta Coating Systems Upgrades To Founding Partner Level Sponsorship With Eagles

Fans attending tonight's Eagles preseason opener against the Buccaneers will see new branding on the passage through which the team enters and exits the field, as Axalta Coating Systems has upgraded to a six-year founding partner level sponsorship with the team. The deal includes title sponsorship to the Tunnel Club at Lincoln Financial Field, a new luxury club and seating area in the south end zone. The new Tunnel Club includes the addition of 58 field seats, which include personal coolers, tablets, USB charging stations and concierge service. Founding partnerships with the Eagles typically are in the low seven figures per year range. Axalta will use the club for corporate hospitality, private events for employees and to recruit employees, as its new Global Innovation Center in the Philadelphia Navy Yard opens in '18. Axalta will continue its All-Pro Teacher program which launched last year and honored local educators. Under the deal, Axalta also gets Eagles digital assets, including the Tunnel Cam, which will allow fans to see behind the scenes tunnel content through the Eagles' mobile app. Axalta will also be presenting sponsor of "The Kickoff Show" on the Eagles Digital Network. Axalta is also working with the Eagles to provide products for the stadium, as its paint will be used on the goal posts. Axalta Senior VP/HR, Corporate Affairs & Global Branding Joseph McDougall and Eagles VP/Corporate Partnerships Brian Napoli completed the deal. Axalta, based in Philadelphia, has increased its spend with the Eagles over the past three years from suite-holder to a top-level founding partner.
